About Hamza Arale

I am currently a third-year student at the University of Toronto, working on earning my degree in civil engineering. Civil engineering is a discipline which I am very interested in not only due to the vast career opportunities the field provides, but more importantly, it is an area I am passionate about and piques my scholastic curiosity. Being a civil engineer will provide me with opportunities to take an active role in my community and equip me with the necessary skills I need to become a leader. I grew up and currently reside in one of Toronto’s underprivileged communities and I believe possessing a degree in civil engineering coupled with my passion for my community will allow me to make meaningful change. As an ambitious, collaborative, and acquiescent student, my specialties include AutoCAD, SketchUP, Microsoft Office, MATLAB, Python, and communications. My interests include construction management, and rail & transit.
