About Han Tran

Since I was in primary school, I had a passion for exploring new things and meeting new people. I am interested in challenging myself and seeing myself step out of my comfort zone. That was the reason why I came to the US for my bachelor degree after my graduation from high school in Viet Nam. When I came to my junior year in the University of Nebraska- Lincoln, I was lucky to get the position as an undergraduate research assistant for a plant science innovation- Schnable Lab. Taking part in the undergraduate research assistants's team, I learned new things and had better knowledge on plant science tasks. Along with that, I had a chance to work with professors, postdocs, graduate students, lab technicians to assist them in their existing researches. For me, with this position, I have been able to work in a professional workplace and do more academic work. As I continue to study further in the major of Management, I find myself looking forward to joining an organization in a management team which can allow me to present my knowledge, utilize my experiences and skills I have gained to meet the organization's expectations and goals.
