About Han Vo

Growing up in an immigrant household and spending most of my time at our family business has taught me more than I could've asked for. From helping my mom interpret important documents to interacting with customers at the store, I understood certain essential skills at an early age. I learned the importance of being self-sufficient, an effective communicator and sometimes an overly organized person. This has led me to pursue a career in business because I have a love for cultivating quality customer experiences and relationships. Throughout my years at VCU, I've been able to intern for two nail salons, a real estate firm and a fashion company. These roles made me realize that marketing is where I can excel creatively and professionally. My most recent project was a fashion show for VICTIM15, a clothing brand based in Richmond. As a social media marketing intern and assistant, I regularly built brand engagement on social media platforms. On top of that, I had 4 months to recruit high profile influencers for a modeling cast and send out hundreds of invites to guests. The show was a part of Miami Swim Week and was a success. This project was extremely rewarding for me because I was able to learn new skills and build upon existing ones.
