I am a lawyer with a demonstrated work history who spent the last six years of my career working with UNHCR on refugee protection and resolutions. I am passionate working with UNHCR, particularly in protection-related matters, primarily in Resettlement and Refugee Status Determination. My previous experience in the private and public sector includes direct work with people and groups in vulnerable situations such as indigenous people, human rights defenders, women, migrants, asylum seekers and refugees. Because of this, I have specialized conducting interviews, as well as legal research and analysis, related to the refugee status determination and resettlement procedure. I am looking forward to continuing my efforts to strengthen the protection program by ensuring the integrity of UNHCR's measures through the precise and acceptable application of our values, principles, and guidelines to ensure the protection of the people we serve.
