I started my career at Deloitte as an Auditor where I graduated from Nyenrode receiving Master and RA degree. After 9 years at Deloitte and holding the position as Audit Manager, changed to the business side continuing my career at ASML. First in the position of business controller in R&D where, next to being business parter I incorporated IFRS and SOX in the R&D area. After around 2 years, leading and developing financial control. Being responsible for financial reporting and analysis, forecast, closure as well as driving improvements (eg introducing the lean approach in finance). From 2004 to 2020 in the position of head of internal control & compliance responsible for SOX compliancy, internal control, Identity & Access Management and access control and compliance for ASML worldwide. As such driving corporate improvement programs in ASML in the area of governance, decision making and control. As of 2021 in the position of director Risk & Business Assurance, driving the consolidation of risk functions in ASML worldwide.
