Highly motivated and versatile graduate student pursuing a Masters in GIS at Georgia Tech, with a strong background in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Graduated summa cum laude and received the Outstanding Political Science Student award. During my year as an AmeriCorps VISTA at the Jefferson County Department of Health, I played a pivotal role in the implementation of the Overdose Data to Action grant. This experience provided me with valuable hands-on exposure to data management, interpretation, and policy development. It further enhanced my ability to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets and effectively communicate them to diverse stakeholders. Combining my interdisciplinary background with my technical expertise in GIS, I am eager to contribute to organizations at the intersection of public policy, data analysis, and geospatial technology.
