About Hanna Ceja

I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Education at the University of Birmingham, building on my foundation in English and Creative Writing from Western Washington University. My journey into education has been shaped by a love for storytelling, a belief in the power of learning, and a desire to help students feel seen, supported, and inspired. Before moving into higher education, I worked as a float teacher at a preschool—an experience that taught me how to think on my feet, connect with learners of all kinds, and bring a sense of play and patience to every teaching moment. Through this job, I learned that meaningful education starts with empathy, flexibility, and trust. I'm especially passionate about creating an inclusive space that supports student growth both inside and outside the classroom. I'm eager to contribute to a team where creativity is valued, learners are prioritized, and education is seen as a collaborative, lifelong journey.
