About Hanna Johnson

Hi! My name is Hanna. I am a Human Resources Generalist and I believe very strongly in the adage of “Listen more and talk less.” I want to connect with people and learn what their passions are and what makes them get out of bed in the morning. When I was working on my undergrad degree at WSU (GO COUGS!) I wanted to choose a field where I could help people. At the time, healthcare seemed like the most obvious path to that goal, but chemistry classes were never a friend to me, so I took a chance and enrolled in some HR classes and fell in love! I truly believe that I have the opportunity everyday to impact someone’s life story in a positive way. By giving them a chance to have a career that they are passionate about that supports them and their family. The biggest compliment that I have ever received is that I have the ability to make people feel known and this is something that I want to take into work every day. I want to hear about people’s stories, histories, achievements, even the failures and based on those things, find a position for them where they can grow and flourish. Currently I am helping support the hiring process for engineers and production workers for Janicki Industries. Janicki builds parts and tooling for our customers in the in the aerospace, marine, energy, space, military, transportation, and architecture industries. I want to hire people who are passionate about engineering and delivering cutting edge solutions to our customers. On a day off you will find me spending time with my husband and two kids. We love to do house projects, go boating, hiking, and having our friends over for dinner. I love to read. A lot. My favorite authors are Sarah J. Maas and Bob Goff. Food is the way to my heart, I love to make it as much as I love to eat it. I also love my peony garden, horses, and secretly wish I could be a professional dressage rider. If you want to connect, DM me or email me at hanna.johnson@janicki.com.
