About Hanna Kidane

I am a first-generation college graduate who is a flexible team player dedicated to improving access and efficiency in the workplace, for both professionals and clients. I carry a passion for the Deaf community as a CODA (child of Deaf adults), and aim to gain verified, ethically reliable ASL interpreting skills in tandem with a greater mission. I am currently studying to gain my ASL Interpreting license (NIC) as well as establishing a network and a greater connection with the signing, interpreter, and Deaf communities. My goal is to create a unique and robust skill set in becoming an advocate for the Deaf community and beyond towards in any space imaginable. I am devoted to applying my background onto the lens of this mission, relying my myriad of intersectional experiences as a means to access opportunities related to advocacy, DEI initiatives, and strategic planning. I believe in the power of intersectionality and its potential applications. So, I know I have the drive to create an impact for the better during my journey as a young professional.
