What are your aspirations for the future?”In response to this commonly asked question, I express my desire to make a positive impact. During my university journey, I honed my focus within the School of Public Health. Witnessing the commitment of my peers to address injustices, inequities, and underrepresentation deeply moved me. Now, as a recent graduate, I am driven to contribute to a more just, equitable, and representative future.My passion lies in program development and management, particularly in areas such as health, nutrition, education, families, and disabilities. Currently, I am actively seeking a full-time position while teaching swim lessons and lifeguarding part-time. My involvement in the swimming community fuels my enthusiasm, and I aspire to join a master’s swim team soon.Furthermore, I’ve delved into learning American Sign Language through ASL 101, and subsequently, I’ve actively engaged with the Deafqueer-owned business “Visually Speaking" and ASL Club at the Univerisity of Washington Seattle campus. Alongside these pursuits, I find immense joy in attending concerts, watching movies, experiencing live shows, and exploring more of what our world offers.
