Background

About Hanna Newcomer

I've spent the past two years working for the Central Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church. I began as a pastoral intern under Rev. David McMinn at the Tarleton Wesley Foundation in August of 2016 and am now under the new leadership of Corey Moses. I began working as the Director of Youth Ministries at the First United Methodist Church of Mineral Wells in April of 2017. In these positions I have gained a vast understanding of the dynamics of the UMC and have had many amazing opportunities to developed my skills such as fulfilling pulpits in the West District of the Central Texas Conference, traveling as a missionary to places both domestic and internationally, and I have gained great experience leading students in their walk of faith. These experiences have helped me to develop deep personable skills as well as public and professional speaking skills, all while creating relationships with those whom I work with and for.
