About Hannah Adams

I am a communications specialist with a passion for translating highly technical information and breaking it down so your teenager could understand it. I happened across this skill by accident via a collegiate group of rocket engineers. If this sounds a bit like October Sky, you’re not wrong. I was recruited to join the newly formed Akronauts Rocket Design Team in 2015 where I quickly became an instrumental fixture of the team, building a brand from the ground up and transforming a disorganized bunch of college students into a professional-looking, high-caliber team. Immersed in the details of building a high-powered rocket, I learned how to write about technical components and found myself utterly obsessed. I have since applied my skills to the finer details of building race tires that can travel between 200–300 mph, automotive manufacturing operations and robust internal communications. The most rewarding part of my work is seeing audiences connect with complex information in ways they had not previously thought possible. I believe communications can make or break an organization. Any time I am crafting a message, I consider how it will be understood from all angles and by all audiences. I approach my work with empathy and thoughtfulness as I determine how best to connect with my audiences. Outside the office, you can find me behind my camera, hiking a national park, cooking for friends, or cheering for my Cleveland sports teams.(This year is our year!)
