About Hannah Ashley

Program coordinator and customer service professional with almost seven years of experience serving public lands. My workplaces have ranged from the federal to nonprofit sectors, but my professional mission remains the same. Help people, always, no matter their background or story. Serve the environment around us that gives so much. I got my customer service career start with the National Park Service. I was an interpretive park ranger, serving as a customer contact in popular national parks. Inquiries ranged from routine questions to assisting in emergency response. In the moment, problem-solving and critical thinking was needed to face a wide variety of different situations. I also funneled complex topics into public educational programs for visitors to learn about the park. My professional experience then shifted to Program Coordinator for the Student Conservation Association. In this role, I manage over 100 interns in SCA's internship programs. I serve as administrative liaison between, interns, partner organizations, and internal SCA staff to ensure that our internship programs stay in compliance. I monitor recruiting, onboarding, and in-field activities. I conduct virtual trainings for interns and SCA's partner clients, multiple times a month. Working in a virtual setting, I became proficient in Microsoft Teams, Salesforce, and ADP platforms.
