As a college student pursuing a degree in early childhood and elementary education, I am passionate about helping young learners from different backgrounds reach their full potential. Through various roles in education, I have developed skills in designing engaging and effective lesson plans, adapting to diverse student needs, and fostering positive and inclusive learning environments. My academic and professional experiences have deepened my appreciation for the transformative power of education and the importance of creating supportive, productive classrooms. I am eager to bring my passion and experience to my role as a teacher and to make a meaningful impact on the lives of my students. My Teaching Philosophy: My teaching philosophy is rooted in nurturing students while holding them to high expectations. When children enter a classroom where they feel safe, accepted, and valued, they are more eager to learn and better equipped to succeed. By maintaining high standards, I can help my students believe in their abilities and support their growth toward reaching their full potential. Finally, I believe that positive student-teacher relationships are incredibly important to cultivate a compassionate, productive, and efficient classroom environment. My Educational Interests: 1. STEM Education: I hope to spark interest and resilience in students, especially in subjects that are often seen as challenging. My goal is to create learning environments where students feel empowered to persevere, discover their capabilities, and develop curiosity and enthusiasm toward STEM. Literacy Access & Development: I believe that literacy is the foundation of all learning. Fostering a love of reading opens pathways to knowledge, critical thinking, and creativity. Strong literacy skills not only promote success in ELAR but also strengthen cognitive abilities and knowledge across all disciplines. Catholic Education: I am dedicated to serving the Catholic community through teaching and fostering learning environments grounded in faith, compassion, and community. I aim to deliver an education rooted in Catholic values that nurtures and cares for the whole child while supporting their growth academically, spiritually, and personally.
