About Hannah Bauer

Hi! I am Hannah! And I enjoy teaching people math much more than teaching people about myself. So let's make this quick. I want to be a part of shaping young minds for as long as I am able. I enjoy teaching math and science, but much more, I enjoy seeing young people become mature thinkers, in and out of the classroom. My college years have been (and are) focused on getting my hands dirty in real experience. I think the only way to learn is to do it. So I have spent time-As a personal middle school math tutor, I learned how to explain math from a very intuitive approach. This allows me to meet students where they are-Co-teaching a college-level course as a Learning Assistant: This not only solidified my understanding of calculus and differential equations but taught me how to present complex topics in an approachable way-As a long-term substitute at Sebring High School, teaching Earth and Space Science and Intermediate Algebra-And as a research assistant working on real-world polynomial models and removing outlying data (noise) using new techniques related to the Fast Fourier Transform.
