About Hannah Beer

I began my career as a dancer after graduating from The Australian Conservatoire of Ballet in 2010 with a Diploma of Performing Arts. I started working for The Australian Ballet in 2011 as a Dance Presenter for their Education Program, Out There. During my time with the education program I traveled around Australia delivering movement workshops to thousands of students. We also presented specially designed dance pieces that correlated with our workshops, including pas de deuxs choreographed by Australian Ballet Principal dancers Rachel Rawlins and Kevin Jackson. During this time I was also a part of the Youth Arts Reference Group for Arts Victoria, along with other young artists in my field. After 2 years with the ballet, I left take up a position within the graduate contemporary dance company Transitions in London, while completing my masters degree with Trinity Laban College. With Transitions, we travelled throughout the UK and overseas performing a show choreographed for us by Ikky Maas, Stephanie Batten-Bland and Dog Kennel Hill Project. When I returned to Australia in 2015, I took on a project tour management role for the Education program at The Australian ballet before accepting the role of Front of House and Merchandise Coordinator for the ballet's Storytime Ballet tour. After completing 2 tours with the Storytime Ballet, I transferred into the new role of Costume Administrative Coordinator. In this role I was responsible for managing all extra curricular costume requirements for the company and coordinating the dancers costume fittings amongst various other tasks. In November 2018 I was offered the role of Associate Producer for Regional Touring and Storytime Ballet with The Australian Ballet.
