Background
About Hannah Bolick
Ambitious, creative, and always curious! Currently, I work at ASU Foundation as a Donor Experience Coordinator and am concurrently interning at Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation over the summer. I have the privilege of interacting with donors in both of these nonprofit spaces. At ASU Foundation, through a multi-channel approach, including recording personalized video messages through ThankView, mailing handwritten notes, and direct personal engagement. At Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, I develop collateral, social media content, and support various campaigns. These roles has been nothing short of fantastic, both in its vast offerings of professional development opportunities, and the rewarding feeling of serving institutions with a profound global impact. Prior to moving to Arizona, I worked as a Peer Research Assistant at the Mount San Jacinto College Library, where I assisted students with navigating library databases and developing research projects. Then, with an interest in expanding my responsibilities (and a very encouraging supervisor), this role expanded to include developing marketing for the library, including scheduled Instagram posts, physical flyers, and promotional videos to be shared by professors. I also had the pleasure of visiting classrooms across campus to promote the library's resources, and the opportunity to table at campus events to engage directly with students. It was in this role that I found my passion for engagement and outreach in both digital and physical spaces. Then before working as a Peer Research Assistant, I worked at Pins and Needles Embroidery, a small embroidery shop in my hometown of Hemet, California. This experience was incredibly valuable exposure to customer care, and practice in helping a customer create a unique product that represents their company, within the parameters of budget, practicality, and brand recognition. Throughout my professional development journey thus far, the common denominator of my experience has been learning how to better serve others, whether that be customers, students, or donors. By equipping myself with technical experience with platforms like Adobe products an Canva, and soft skills such as leadership, teamwork, and integrating creativity into projects, I am optimistic that I will be a strong contributor to whatever team I will have the privilege of joining next!
