I am a professional with a wealth of experience in design, creative problem-solving, and strategic consulting. I am a highly creative and analytical thinker with the expertise of delivering innovative and effective solutions across a variety of design disciplines. My sense of aesthetics, open mindset, and ability to understand the needs and goals of my clients, enable me to create visually appealing and easy-to-understand concepts that drive change and support the growth of a business. I am dedicated to providing high-quality work, exceeding expectations, and effectively addressing the unique challenges of each project. In my current experience in wayfinding design, I lead teams of specialists in the creation of perfectly balanced solutions that empower millions of people to move confidently and fluently. We work with top architects and specialists on projects around the world. This while ensuring that the projects are delivered efficiently and effectively, while also serving as a bridge to the management team. STUDY A background in Industrial Design at the Technical University and Communication Design at Design Academy Eindhoven equipped me with the ability to blend a mathematical approach with design thinking. It allows me to create innovative solutions that are both practical and aesthetically pleasing. OWN BUSINESSES 15 years of experience in the field. I founded two successful businesses, Studio HNNH, and Bureau Wijkwiskunde. I have learned to creatively lead, organize, manage, and design projects from A-to-Z throughout the years with freelancers, interns, and clients. My specializations are in wayfinding, textiles, and identity design in a variety of industries around the world. FREELANCE I have also served as a Creative Consultant where I was able to bring creative thinking and collaboration into the business and make them an integral part of problem-solving. LEAD CREATIVE From 2015 onwards I have decided to work within company environments in the international design field. I have held leadership positions at the renowned studios Thonik (corporate identity and communication design) and Mijksenaar (wayfinding design), such as lead designer and art director. My expertise in concept development, design direction, and stakeholder management make me a valuable asset to the teams and a valuable partner for the management team.
