About Hannah Champeau

With over eight years of experience in conservation and outdoor education, I am passionate about fostering connections between people and nature. As a park manager at Vermont State Parks, I oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and safety of the park, as well as the development and delivery of interpretive programs, events, and activities. I am a certified interpretive guide and have skills in CPR, wilderness medicine, and project planning. Previously, I worked as an outdoor educator at Central Vermont Supervisory Union and a summer camp mentor at Vermont Farm and Forest School, where I taught students and campers about environmental issues, ecology, and sustainability. I have a bachelor's degree in conservation and outdoor education and a certificate in environmental education. I am committed to protecting and enhancing the natural and cultural resources of the park, and to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all visitors. I enjoy collaborating with my team, partners, and stakeholders to achieve our shared goals and vision.
