About Hannah Cummings

I am a results-driven leader with 7+ years of experience in people development & management, currently leading a team in the development and delivery of programmes of activity to support the creation of innovative, high growth potential start-ups. I have supported and coached 100+ start-ups across a range of sectors from fintech to health-tech, with an onus on designing user-centric supports to accelerate their trajectories, as well as creating pathways that act as entry points to innovation and entrepreneurship. I work closely with a broad range of stakeholders from students and experienced corporate professionals to start-ups, gov. agencies, investors, coaches, mentors and design thinking facilitators. My core competencies include project management, programme design, stakeholder management and relationship building, facilitation and use of design thinking methodologies. I am passionate about people development and facilitating and curating conversations, experiences and programmes of activity that support stakeholders to achieve their goals and elevate their voices. I am on the leadership team of Women in Tech Belfast for women who work in any area of the tech industry. The group's mission is to support, educate and empower women in technology, fostering equality in the workspace. With 1384 members, our leadership team leverages our networks to provide development and networking opportunities, promoting female voices in the the industry. In a previous life, I completed a PhD in Drama with a focus on participatory performance practices and their relationship to political action, capitalism and the performance of identity. My experience includes qualitative data collection and analysis, alongside 10 years of experience as a performer and theatre maker. I bring this background to play in the business world by supporting others to find their pitch and presentation confidence, as well as hosting panels and events.
