About Hannah Davis

Ever since I was little my favorite place to be beside the outdoors was in the kitchen. My family has always connected around making and sharing food. So, I learned from a young age that food isn’t just fuel it also helps bring people together. However, the summer before I started college, I had some health problems that no doctor I saw seemed to be able to diagnose.One day some friends brought my family a meal because one of my parents had just had surgery. As I was eating, I started to read the label on the back of a chip bag that our friends gave us and that was when everything changed.The label talked about how certain foods can affect the body in different ways and how changing the way a person eats can often change their health outcomes. I took this idea and ran with it. I started changing how I ate and soon saw dramatic results in my health. Since then, I have wanted to help others fuel and heal their bodies with food. I also developed a passion for preventative care and helping people implement lifestyle changes to decrease their risk of disease later in life.This passion led me to pursue further education at Bob Jones University as a Health science major with a concentration in Nutrition. I am currently a student in the Master of Science Nutrition and Dietetics program at the University of North Florida to become a Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist. I hope to use the skills I have learned and am currently learning to help others change their health through what they eat and to do this in a community of like-minded people.
