About Hannah Eaves

I work with organizations and companies to increase their impact. This work places me in two different spheres: Impact measurement and product innovation. I’m currently a Senior Officer of Measurement, Learning and Evaluation at the Gates Foundation. Prior to this role I led impact measurement and evaluation at the Mozilla Foundation, with a focus on advancing trustworthy AI. Other career highlights: Digital strategy, product design, and development for LiveSessions.NPR.org (formerly VuHaus.com) a partnership between 20 music discovery radio stations and NPR that features videos of live music sessions; and REACH, a cutting-edge VR/AR editing tool for Emblematic Group, featured in the New Frontier section of the 2019 Sundance Film Festival and at SXSW. Yet more highlights: Strategic planning for Subculture Systems, WITF/Pennon, and Firelight Media, contributing to strategy reports and research on engaged journalism, particularly examining the ROI of audience engagement for Dot Connector Studio and their foundation clients. I have also led innovation training at the Macquarie Group for Subculture Systems, which included managing Human-Centered Design and innovation accelerators and bootcamps. Other past and present clients include the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, New Media Ventures, Learning for Action, Endless, the Center for Investigative Reporting, the Knight Foundation, CUNY's Graduate School of Journalism, and Matter Ventures.
