About Hannah Gibson

For over 25 years, I have been driven by a commitment to create enduring and meaningful change in the social impact sector. As a senior leader in international development and global public health, my expertise lies in bringing the right people and the right pieces together to solve critical challenges. I focus on uniting diverse, cross-functional, and often remote teams, to elevate how they work together to increase performance and most importantly maximise their impact. HOW I ADD VALUE: PARTNERSHIPS AND RELATIONSHIPS: I establish and nurture strategic partnerships to raise income streams, scale up success, and increase overall impact. INCOME GENERATION: I increase and diversify funding streams by embedding a culture of fundraising throughout the organisation. PROGRAMME LEADERSHIP: I develop actionable and impactful strategies to address critical and complex challenges; applying certified Project Management skills to guide programmes from start-up to completion. MOBILISING AND MOTIVATING TEAMS: I bring cross-functional teams together, guiding them to work with and across each other to elevate performance and achieve greater impact. CAPACITY STRENGTHENING AND MENTORING: I coach and mentor team members, empowering them to grow their professional capabilities. OPPORTUNITIES I AM LOOKING FOR: I am seeking a leadership role or senior role within a mission-driven organisation, in the social impact, non-profit, or charity/third sector, or companies with a health emphasis where I can contribute my expertise to support vulnerable populations. I would welcome an opportunity in Edinburgh (hybrid/office) or surrounds to deepen my roots in my local community, but I am fully equipped to work remotely for UK-based and global organisations.
