About Hannah Head

I am a lover of podcasting and radio. I started with an alternative music show at ANU's Woroni Radio, as well as working in level 1 technical support. I then began volunteering at 2XX community radio as a social media and production assistant. From those beginnings, I managed to land a casual radio producer role at ABC Radio Canberra. In this position I create content, edit audio, produce live radio shows, and tell stories about Canberra's wider community. I am passionate about audio communications, and would like to pursue a career in audio producing.ABC Radio Canberra has opened a world of possibility. I am now a communications advisor at Akin Communications. In this role I have the pleasure of working with corporate and government clients to tell their stories.I am also currently completing my third-year of Political Science and International Relations at Australian National University. In my spare time, I produce a podcast a few podcasts, I am a saxophonist, a woman's and LGBTQ+ rights advocate, a carer, and a lover of hikes. I pride myself on my energetic and positive personality.
