About Hannah Hess

A bold, self motivated, and enthaustiac individual, with experience in occupational safety,technical writing, emergency response, disease investigation, and health education. My current work has a health inspector has helped grow my love for public health while keeping my community safe and healthy. Im currently employed as a consumer health specialist at a medium sized city in North Texas where I conduct inspections at pools,food services and daycares for compliance with federal, state, and local codes. My previous position was as a COVID-19 contact tracer for a 7 county health district in eastern Idaho, where I quickly became a strong team leader, as well as serving for a short time as the liaison between the health department and local school systems. After seeing my organizational skills and ability to work independently, I was asked to manage a satellite office for the district for 3 months while the previous manager was on personal leave.
