About Hannah Hoeffner

With an honors degree in English and Math from the University at Albany, and a background in editorial and administrative roles, I am now eager to further my expertise in the editorial and book publishing industries. Beyond my professional pursuits, I am a passionate reader, writer, and traveler. A highlight of my career so far was interning at a magazine company in the U.K, which sparked my desire to pursue a career in publishing. At DERMASCOPE Magazine and Time & Leisure Magazine, I have edited articles, managed content, and conducted interviews with authors. I have also developed strong organizational skills, coordinating social media posts, managing office files, and researching in-depth investigative reports. Since then, I have continued to actively seek out various opportunities to hone my craft. Currently, I am working as a Library Page at the MMS Community Library, an experience that sharpened my attention to detail, efficiency, and love for the written word. From shelving and cataloging to assisting patrons, I gained firsthand insight into how books impact communities. Now, I am excited to apply these skills and experiences to the publishing industry, where I can work behind the scenes and connect readers to their next book. I am excited to explore opportunities in editorial, content creation, subsidiary rights, or other publishing roles. When I am not working, you can find me reading, traveling, or trying something new!
