About Hannah Joshua

At present, I have returned to my studies to achieve a Master’s in Gender & International Relations- a topic which is inarguably relevant to the world we live in. I am studying part-time and balancing work alongside this, as well as looking to gain work experience and carry out research in this field.I was an undergraduate Child Nursing graduate who made the incredibly wise decision to get my first taste of working on the wards in the midst of a pandemic. To say it‘s been intense is an understatement, however I have loved the chance to rise to the challenge every fast-paced minute of it!Not only has my degree impassioned and motivated me to aim for the very best academically, but it has also propelled me into striving for the very best platforms from which to kickstart my career path. Considering my versatility and broad skill set, I see no harm in seizing the opportunity to advance my proficiency through gaining experience further afield. More specifically, I have an interest in developing my insight of and experience with working in the corporate roles of consultancy, marketing, recruitment and human relations. The reason for my specific interest in these areas is simple: I’m aware that these roles would correlate with my acquired expertise, whilst also encouraging me to evolve and enhance my skills. I have enjoyed acquiring analytical, research and interpersonal communication skills (to name a few), however am now looking to cultivate them all further. Moreover, my aim is to continue procuring placements, internships and work experience within sectors which I believe I can excel at - without limiting myself to simply healthcare. In doing so, I feel that my proficiency across sectors will be easily transferable, making me a unique candidate for numerous career paths.
