About Hannah Lalone

I am currently an outpatient pediatric physical therapist at Mary Free Bed in Grand Rapids. Previously, I was a resident at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital in Grand Rapids. I pursued a year-long residency after graduating with my Doctorate of Physical Therapy to learn more about the role of physical therapy in pediatric populations and gain mentorship from experienced professionals. Over the course of clinical education and residency, I had experience with populations including torticollis, cerebral palsy, autism, developmental coordination disorder, cardiac conditions, developmental delay, concussion, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, multi-trauma, and more. I also had experience across various settings, including pediatric inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient pediatrics, school physical therapy, Early On, and the NICU during my residency. By the end of the residency, I obtained 1,500+ hours of clinical care experience in pediatrics with an additional 300+ hours of didactic curriculum that facilitated further education in pediatric conditions. Prior to this residency, I have had clinical experience as a student in outpatient orthopedics, acute care, and inpatient rehabilitation with adults or geriatric populations.
