About Hannah Larsen

I am currently seeking a Physical Education/Health teaching position. Having already passed the EdTPA, I solely need to finish my student teaching hours and graduate in December of 2016. Practicum experiences throughout my college experience have prepared me to teach students K-12. My latest experience with student teaching at an elementary school and at a middle school has taught me so much and I have grown as a teacher through these experiences. During my placement at the elementary school I had the opportunity to create meaningful lessons in PE and health, lead whole group instruction, attend staff and district meetings and also help with the school wellness committee. The Title 1 middle school I was placed at during student teaching allowed me to learn different strategies of working with students from low-income families and certain challenges that they face. At both of these student teaching placements my skills in classroom management, teaching diverse learners, instructional delivery and many more have grown and I will continue to learn and grow in these skills as I become a more experienced teacher.
