About Hannah Lyons

I am a dedicated and highly skilled Cardiac Physiologist with 5years experience in cardiovascular diagnostics, patient monitoring and non-invasive and invasive cardiac procedures. Proficient in performing ECGs, Ambulatory Blood Pressure monitoring, Holter monitoring, Event monitoring, Exercise stress testing, Cardiac Catheterization measurements and CIED follow-up and optimization. I am trained in the Cath Lab and have experience with angiograms, PCI’s, shockwave, IVUS, Rotablation and device implantation. I am passionate about delivering high-quality, safe patient care, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, and utilizing cutting-edge technology to improve patient outcomes. Within my role I also enjoy teaching and have taken up the role as the Practice Educator within our department. In this role I support, guide and teach students who are starting on their journey to become Cardiac Physiologists. Previously I was a Technical Consultant working for Medtronic. Specializing in cardiac devices such as Pacemakers, ICDs, CRT, CSP. I enjoy volunteering and I am a member of the Order of Malta for 17years where I participate in local community duties along with nationwide events. I also run our local cadet program, this involves teaching 10-16 year olds first aid. I was nominated and shortlisted for volunteer of the year in 2020 and 2022 I also spent some time in Tanzania, Africa volunteering.
