I’m an engaged, practical, creative, and motivated person with 10+ years of experience in the non-profit sector, working in fund development, donor relations, event planning and coordination, communications, and public relations. My passion is working with people, and for people, particularly in the field of social aid and change. It’s important for me to care where I work, and for my own values to align with the company’s mission. A little bit more about me… • I have extensive experience in fund development, including donor relations, event planning and execution, marketing and communication, stewardship, volunteer management, PR practices, and fundraising campaigns. • I have highly developed people skills and customer service skills in various different work environments, from non-profit to offices to retail to food services—I like people and my work shows that. • A graduate of Queen’s University, majoring in Sociology and on the Dean’s Honour List. • Out of over 130 employees, I received the Overall Staff of the Year Award at Common Ground Coffeehouse—it’s nice to love where you work! • From Auckland to Washington and everywhere in between, I am passionate about travel, and work hard along the way to fund my passion. • All the world’s a stage, and for me it truly is! All my life I’ve been involved in drama and musical theatre, from Irish dancing stages to starring theatre roles. I am a graduate of The Second City Toronto's elite audition-only Sketch Conservatory Program.
