About Hannah Moats

As someone who was raised by a police officer and loved watching,"Dateline," I thought my passion was found in the criminal justice world, hence the degree from Boise State University. I quickly found out after working for an anti-trafficking organization straight out of college that the world I desperately wanted to work in was not where I was meant to be. After some hardcore re-evaluation of what I was supposed to be doing with my life, I noticed a pattern in my childhood - a passion for connection with people. Whether it was a sports team, service trip out of the country, school dances, working retail, you name it, if I was surrounded by people and creating connections with the community, I was living my best life. Being the Advancement Assistant at King's Way has made my cup overflow with excitement and gratitude, as it allows me to engage with the community daily and foster meaningful connections between alumni and volunteers on campus. Through my efforts, I have successfully facilitated events and initiatives that bring together past and present members of our community, creating a vibrant network of support and collaboration. It's rewarding to see the lasting relationships that form as a result of my work, and I am proud to play a role in building a stronger, more connected campus community. Little Hannah would be ecstatic!
