I'm Hannah and I help women become work optional by taking control of their finances. What is work optional? It's so many things! It's being able to focus on work that brings joy, that fuels you, that allows you to live the life you want. Here's my own story.I was 31 when I had an overwhelming sense of panic that I had to figure out what I should be doing to build the future I wanted. I was pregnant with my second child at the time and didn't have any luck finding the support I was looking for. After a financial advisor told me to come back when I had $500k in investable assets, I knew I needed to educate myself.I deep dove into podcasts, books & any other learning I could get my hands on. I combined this ad hoc education with formal learnings by passing my SIE, Series 7, Series 65 & AFC certifications. I started coaching others formally & gained real life experience to combine with my education.During this time, I heard story after story about- A friend who became pregnant and wanted to be able to spend more time with their child instead of at work- A colleague who found a different job that they desperately wanted to take but couldn't afford the paycheck- Someone who had built up a life around them that required them to keep working 60 hours and was missing time with their familyAfter 6 years of building a plan & sticking with it, I'm more confident than ever in my financial future. I was able to take a step back in my career to focus on what I want to do, not what will bring in the highest paycheck. My husband quit his job to focus on our two little girls and take the time to better understand what he wants to do next. He has the luxury to focus on what he wants instead of what will bring in the highest paycheck.Money is a tool to be used to create the life you want.
