Oral historian, filmmaker, audio producer, and current MA student at Columbia University, focused on recovering histories of LGBTQ+ activism, organizing, and life in the South. Founder of Queer Florida, an oral history project documenting the complicated and rich connection that LGBTQ+ Floridians have to their communities and identities. Passionate about abolition, the de-criminalization of poverty, indigenous-led landback movements, and the protection and valuation of queer and trans people, especially LGBTQ+ youth. I believe that radical empathy paired with action, restorative justice, and learning from our collective histories can change the world—starting with your local community.
