About Hannah Ramey

There are two things my parents taught me growing up, always do your absolute best in everything you do and believe in yourself. Since I was 14 I've had a job and went to school. No matter if that job was cleaning the church, working in the office at my high school, or working as a management assistant in the Surry Co Health Department, I made sure to do those two things. As a high school freshman I entered into the first Early College High School in the county and was a part of the Legacy Class. This resulted in graduating with my Associates in Arts at 19. Upon coming to UNC Charlotte I obtained a job as a work study student in the Office of the Registrar and did my best to become a sponge and learn everything I could. I strongly believe that that mentality helped me to earn the position I currently hold. I want to help people, I've always wanted that. Making a difference in the lives of others means more to me than anything. My current position has shown me that helping people can be done on almost any platform and every persons job is significant. With that being said promotion and education about nutrition and healthy lifestyles has been my top priority since I was 18; it's also the reason I got my degree in Health Communication. With my office experience, health department knowledge, and extremely hard work ethic I feel I could excel as a Communication Specialist, Health Marketing Consultant, Assistant Wellness Coordinator, etc.
