HEAD VOLLEYBALL COACH - HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL STUDENT ATHLETE: As NCAA Athlete, balanced full-time volleyball demands (15+ hours/week), working summer jobs, and managing full-time student responsibilities during college career. Accomplished college volleyball career on and off the court. GOAL SETTER: As a standout volleyball player, I worked hard to set goals and then achieve them – on a national stage by earning a #1 National Ranking in Digs (2020). My consistency yielded top results in the nation, while keeping an eye on the job at hand. OUTREACH: Volunteering in our community has enlightened me. South Louisiana experienced major hurricane and flood damage over the past few years. Our volleyball team worked on the Closet Cleanout project, where our squad collected clothes and sorted them for distribution to the needy in our community. Personally thanking First Responders three separate times (2021) was an extremely rewarding experience. In 2020, our region experienced devastating hurricane damage. Along with other volleyball teammates, I volunteered in conjunction with United Way of Acadiana to assist these victims. These activities kept me grounded, humble and thankful for all my blessings. NETWORKS: The past few years have shown that getting involved means meeting people who can provide lasting relationships. As a member of the Ragin Cajuns Athletic Foundation, I participated in the RCAF (2021) to thank donors to their efforts and support. Active membership in the Ragin Cajun Athlete Network, Cajun Compass, and the UL Alumni, allows me to network with other professionals to better our community and lives.
