About Hannah Ramirez

Hannah has more than seven years of experience in the environmental sector specializing in environmental and social safeguards/ assessment, monitoring, reporting, audit, and due diligence of various bank-financed projects across the Philippines. Hannah conducted assessments and site inspections with emphasis on project site sensitivity/vulnerability, environmental and occupational health and safety risks, and environmental and social compliance, among others. She has in-depth knowledge on environmental project and program management, from project development, approval, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation. She was involved as a Consultant in environmental projects including the World Bank-assisted Carbon Finance Support Facility (CFSF), a program institutionalized to respond to climate change through the implementation of carbon recovery and financing initiatives and programs eligible under the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM). In addition, Hannah was heavily involved in the implementation of LANDBANK's Green Climate Fund (GCF) Program, a fund established by to assist developing countries with their climate change adaptation and mitigation efforts. She has University teaching and research & development experience and has performed voluntary work as an Environmental Impact Assessment preparer outside the University. She has strong background on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), pollution control, compliance monitoring, health and safety, and environmental management systems. One of her key strengths is technical writing focused on environmental project proposals, and policies and procedures development. Hannah is also a licensed Environmental Planner in the Philippines (as regulated by the Philippine Professional Regulation Commission).
