About Hannah Ringstaff

As a dynamic acquisitions manager for the City of Jacksonville Public Library, I bring my passion for books and love for library management to every aspect of my work. With 5 years of experience in the field, I manage the Acquisitions department, the backbone of a large library system. I oversee material delivery, paying invoices, material processing/linking/sorting, review material for the Local Author collection, manage book processing supply ordering for the entire system, and create popular curated collections in Libby (AKA Overdrive). In addition to my expertise in library acquisitions, I am also a natural coach and leader. I thrive on mentoring and developing team members, helping them achieve their full potential and contributing to the success of the organization as a whole. My ability to effectively manage and motivate my diverse team has resulted in a highly effective, organized department. When I'm not at work, you can find me spending quality time with my family and enjoying delicious Thai cuisine. I believe in maintaining a healthy work-life balance, and strive to make the most of my time outside of the office. I'm always seeking new opportunities to learn and grow in the field of library management, and I'm excited to connect with other professionals in the industry.
