About Hannah Rourke

My journey in health care started many years ago, when I realized that I had a passion to help people and create an impact in the area of nursing. Since then, I have continually developed myself as an eager critical thinker, dedicated and hard-working employee, and life-long learner. Over the past five years, I have had the privilege to work in many different positions, including as a Residential Care Aide, Community Health Worker, and Employed Student Nurse. I have used every opportunity to develop my strengths as a warm, caring and sensitive member of the inter-professional team. I continually seek feedback and advice from both my peers and employees, because I believe that there is always room for improvement. I am currently a Registered Nurse, exploring my career as a Perioperative RN in the Operating Room. Opportunities are virtually endless in healthcare and I hope to one day further my career in the area of leadership. I am looking for a position that will further develop my interpersonal, inter-professional, and clinical nursing skills. I value a working environment that has supportive co-workers and allows me to work in a friendly, non-competitive environment.
