Enthusiastic hard working individual with experience across a broad range of disciplines associated with NPI process development, optimisation, transfer and testing. Experience in technical transfer and scale up of CHO cell processes, specialising in upstream processing, single use consumable design and process optimisation. Involved in designing and supporting the execution of verification trials, demonstration batches and IMP campaigns. Executed organic synthesis of small molecule intermediates as part of a process optimisation campaign to support process validation studies and documentation. Experience in method development for Phase I NPIs, acting as an NPI technical specialist supporting study design, demonstration of proficiency experiments and clinical batch release testing. Other experiences include a 6 month wet lab research project in the Conway Institute UCD focusing on phage display and discovery of novel antibody fragments against a target antigen. Carried out protein expression in bacterial hosts to obtain the target antigen followed by successive rounds of phage display on immunotubes to isolate antibody fragments from a semi-synthetic library Versed in a broad range of analytical techniques including capillary electrophoresis-SDS (reduced and non reduced), A280/SoloVPE spectrophotometry, GC, HPLC. Competent with software's including SAP, MCS, LIMS, Empower, Smart QC and Excel.
