About Hannah Shapiro

Currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Maryland. I have gained clinical experience across diverse settings, including the University of Maryland Hearing and Speech Clinic, National Therapy Center, and Adventist HealthCare. At the university clinic, I provided treatment for pediatric and adult clients with a range of communication disorders, including executive dysfunction, autism, transgender voice, and aphasia. At National Therapy Center, I worked with pediatric clients with autism, AAC needs, and articulation disorders, conducting evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans. Currently, at Adventist HealthCare, I evaluate and treat adults with cognitive-linguistic deficits, including those with TBI, CVA, Parkinson’s Disease, and dementia, incorporating evidence-based approaches such as LSVT LOUD.
