About Hannah Socci

I graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in May of 2021 with a BA in Language and World Business with a Hispanic Studies Concentration. Currently I attend the Accelerated Nursing program at South College in Knoxville, Tennessee. I will be graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing and will continue on to take the NCLEX and become a Registered Nurse. I have over 8 years of experience in Spanish communication in both forms of verbal and written, and am able to converse freely with native speakers and those who have Spanish as a second language. I have completed certifications in Medical Spanish to be able to enhance the care I am able to give in hospital settings. I want to be able to expand the numbers of patients I can care for by removing a communication barrier that many experience in the United States. Through my undergraduate degree, I held multiple positions in order to enhance my skills and knowledge. During my immense involvement in the Delta Zeta Sorority, I was able to serve as the President of our chapter and develop strong leadership abilities. I have been able to amplify my personal communication skills through physical interactions and via the internet due to the development of Covid-19. As an individual, I am passionate about human interactions, health care and creating strong, mutually beneficial relationships. I pride myself in being a respectful person, who cares about the well being of others and works hard to do her work to the best of her ability. I care about continuing my education through certifications in healthcare to allow my patients to have the most accurate information provided to them.
