About Hannah Szto

Hannah focuses on advising on how to commercialise new IP and bring technology to market while also considering the impact on organisations. She previously worked as the lead legal counsel in Deloitte's Office of General Counsel team for the assets, new products and services, and alliances space. At the same time she was also the Artificial Intelligence legal counsel for Deloitte Asia-Pacific, working with global SMEs to advise on the contracting and regulatory considerations when working with AI. Prior to this, she was a consultant in the Melbourne Human Capital Consulting practice providing advice and insights to organisations on how to best capitalise on new technology to prepare for the future of work. Her primary work focused on delivering business cases, operating models, and forecasting the future effort required when implementing enterprise technologies. Hannah brings a multidisciplinary approach with her Bachelor in Science, Master in Business in Science and Technology Commercialisation and her Juris Doctor. She also has a range of experience, from patent strategy in early stage biotechnology start-ups to advising on the implementation of HCM systems for large-scale national retailers and in higher-education. She is currently studying her Master in Laws at Columbia University with a concentration in Intellectual Property and Technology, and is keen to continue working in roles that intersect technology, law and business strategy in an innovative environment.
