About Hannah Tansel

When I began my career at Schaffer & Associates in 2019, I had every intention of simply serving as their receptionist until I finished college and became a teacher. Quickly I found my niche within the practice, and my role grew into that of the office administrator. To date, I oversee much of the behind-the-scenes work within the firm. I am happy to work in a place where I feel like I’m making a difference in the community. My favorite part of working in a law firm is having the opportunity to help people during what is likely a dark time in their life. I enjoy communicating with clients and making sure their needs are met. I am passionate about equality for all people, including the disabled and injured. I am proud to work for a firm where I know the attorneys feel the same way. It is inspiring to work with professionals who are so clearly dedicated to ensuring our clients receive all they are entitled to. I value the variety in my job. My role as office administrator requires me to be creative, personable, tech-savvy, and organized. These traits translate to my personal life as well. I love anything involving art and crafts, spending much of my free time scrapbooking, writing, playing video games, and watching movies. Spending time with my family is very important to me as well. I have been married to my high school sweetheart since 2014 and we have 2 children.
