About Hannah Wilde

I am a third-year student at the University of Technology Sydney, having completed my Bachelor of Communication (Social and Political Science)(UTS – November 2024), and am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Laws. Passionate about advocacy, philosophy, and environmentalism, I am eager to apply my academic knowledge in practical, professional settings. In 2024, I reached several key milestones: completing my Communication degree, interning at NSW Parliament in the office of Cate Faehrmann, and beginning my first legal role as a Legal Assistant at Law Partners Personal Injury Lawyers. In this role, I have gained hands-on experience in workers' compensation, managing client communications, and drafting legal documents. Over the past three years, being a university student has required me to adhere to deadlines and produce a wide range of critical work addressing legal principles and scenarios, as well as social and political issues through various frameworks and contexts. My particular interest lies in the intersection of these spheres and how they interact and compound. To explore this, my submissions have included: • Written assignments: essays, literature reviews, proposals; • Visual illustrations: posters, social media posts; • Video submissions; and • Speeches/Presentations. Additionally, I have over six years of customer service and administrative experience, with roles such as a Receptionist at Bunnings Warehouse, and a Retail Assistant at Bed Bath & Table, where I developed strong communication, organisational, and client service skills. Looking ahead, this summer I am actively diversifying my experience through exciting projects, online courses, and new professional opportunities.
