As a Research Coordinator in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at one of the largest children’s hospitals in the country, I aid in running over 15 ongoing studies focused on advancing pediatric critical care. My role involves direct communication with patients and their families, guiding them through the research process and ensuring informed participation. I’m responsible for collecting and analyzing clinical data with precision, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to keep studies running smoothly. This work allows me to contribute meaningfully to the development of treatments that can improve outcomes for critically ill children, that way I can make a difference in making kids better today and healthier tomorrow.
