About Hans Licht

From my base in Sweden I co-operate with BMC Advies to improve the public sector in this turbulent world. I believe we need a serving and networking government more than ever. Be brave! My work focuses on leading co-operation between organizations (Regievoering). Besides supporting a team at BMC that works with the subject, I accept assignments that are challenging and meaningful in the transition of the public sector. I'm working in different domains like security and care, government inspection, circular economy, climate change and infrastructure. Besides of coaching program managers and directors, I lecture groups in company and at SIOO and AOG Since 1980 I work in the Dutch public domain as a manager and consultant dealing with professionalism of the public sector. Since 2004 I also work in the Swedish public sector with a focus on exchange of international experience. My last book 'Netwerkregie'(Scriptum, 2016) is about leadership and directing cooperation between organizations. September 2015 the book ‘Projectmanagement met Creatiemacht’ (Robertjan Uijl and Hans Licht: Scriptum 2015) is published. In 2013 two books were published: The first one is about Program Management (Jo Bos, Anne Jette van Loon, Hans Licht: Programmatisch Creëren; Scriptum, 2013) and the second is about leadership without formal authority (Hans Licht: Regievoering zonder macht; van Gorcum, 2013). In 1996 I wrote a book about project management (Licht, Nuiver: Projecten en Beleidsontwikkeling; van Gorcum, 2005). In 2005 I finished a book about program management (Programma-management, regievoering zonder macht). In 2010 a book was published about democracy in Swedish (Demokratin är död, länge leve demokratin).
