About Hans Thulesius
Research and teaching. I was appointed associate professor (docent) in family medicine at Lund University, Malmö, Sept 2011. Grounded Theory is a scientific method that I like to work with and teach. My teacher is Barney Glaser who discovered Grounded Theory in the 1960s. 2019 professor at Linnaeus University where I primarily do clinical teaching of medical students from Linköping University who study @ region Kalmar. Research diversity: as a GP I am interested in anything that can improve the health of my patients: cancer workup and end of life care, diabetes and mental comorbidity, telehealth and digital medicine, cognitive impairment, social prescribing, fragility fracture prevention etc. I have coauthored >100 original papers and >100 other scientific texts as well. General practitioner. I see around patients a year aged 0-102 years old. I do home calls for my patients with mobility problems, mostly older persons.
