About Hans Turner

Whether we are thatching a lean-to with palm fronds or covering a Class A office building with a highly resilient waterproofing membrane, a roof over our heads is one of our basic needs. Without reliable shelter, we lack safety and security, making the struggle to survive (or to survive well) incredibly difficult and stressful. Surviving well also demands the responsibility of ensuring the environment we survive in is healthy and in balance. Making responsible, sustainable choices with commercial roofing system products, design, installation and business practices can have a tremendous impact on our quality of life and the beautiful environment we live in. Growing up in the commercial roofing industry and with nearly 20 years of professional experience ranging as a General Manager for a commercial roofing contracting firm, a Technical Sales Manager for a major roofing manufacturer, as Vice President of Sales for a national consulting firm, and Technical Sales Director for a startup manufacturing company, Hans has extensive technical knowledge and business acumen in nearly all facets of the industry. Hans earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the Metropolitan State University of Denver with an emphasis in both Evolutionary Biology and Conservation Biology. He has a passion for sustainability and conservation that he carries into his professional career with a focus on improving ecological and environmental sustainability of the roofing and building industries. He is working toward his RRO certification and GRP certifications. He is fluent in Spanish and is studying Danish. He loves traveling and adventuring, having fun with his three children, and practicing the Arts of Fly-fishing, Hiking, Biking, Scuba, and Meditation.
