About Hans Vogel
As a trained biochemist, my passion is to understand mechanisms of action of proteins and peptides in a variety of biological contexts. The outcomes of my basic biochemistry protein and peptide research have been published in a range of peer-reviewed science journals, and this work is widely cited. The results for our collaborative metabolomics research, aimed at discovering new diagnostic methods, have been published in various medical and 'omics' journals. I have experience in developing innovative methods for studying functional and molecular biology, including structural and dynamics tools, basic cancer and infectious diseases research, biophysical techniques and protein structure determination. I am currently interested in the fields of Biomolecular Interactions, Drug Discovery and Repurposing, Physiology & Infectious Diseases where my skills, experience and background can be utilized as well as broadening my horizons.
